  • Farming for less than 10 years?
  • Gross farm income less than $250,000?
If you fit any or all of these characteristics, you may qualify for special consideration under our Young, Beginning, and Small Farmer Program. To fulfill our vision and as a part of our mission, United FCS is committed to serving the needs of young, beginning, and small farmers in our service area.

If you're a young and/or beginning farmer and are looking for a web-based resource, visit www.agriculture.com/future. The site, developed in partnership between the Farm Credit System Foundation and Successful Farming magazine, features online mentoring, updates from agricultural experts, a resource directory, news of important changes in farm policy and an e-mail newsletter. This multi-faceted resource is designed to help young and beginning farmers discover new ideas by providing access to timely information, a support network for advice and tools and resources to help facilitate their success.
